For those looking for 5G network capability, the Galaxy A14 5G is one of the few options in this price range. When it was first released in 2023 it had a retail price closer to $200. But now it is under $100 from many retailers and a solid option. The phone comes with a 6.5" screen, Octa-core processor, 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. It also features a 50MP rear camera and 5,000 mAh battery. It is a capable budget phone that is now even more interesting thanks to the discounted price. Moto G Power 5G 2023
With a 6.5" full HD screen, 128GB storage, Android 13 and 5G network access, the 2023 Power has a lot of great features for the price. It also comes with a 50MP triple rear camera, 120hz screen refresh rate and 5,000 mAh battery. The updated model from the popular Motorola line of phones, the 2022 Moto G Power offers a 6.5" screen, 4GB RAM, 64GB storage, large, 5,000 mAh battery, and octa-core processor. It comes with Android 11 and a 50MP rear camera system. While it is a little underpowered compared to newer models, it is available at a very low price after originally retailing for $200. A budget option released in 2023, the Moto G Play has a 6.5" screen, Octa-core processor, 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. The Play actually shares many of the same or similar features as the 2022 Power, including the same processor and screen. Moto G Stylus (2023)
The 2023 Stylus offers a 6.5" screen, 4GB RAM, 64GB storage and octa-core processor. It also features Android 13 and a detachable stylus for writing and drawing. The Stylus line of phones from Motorola have been very popular, but the 2023 version keeps the price low. The processor and screen are not the most exciting features, but the phone is capable enough to handle most moderate use and offers the updated Android experience and a large battery.

Why is Tracfone itself offering so few new phones currently?
Because manufacturers haven't released any new phones recently. Samsung has begun releasing their new A series phones, so those should be making their way to Tracfone soon..
The TCL 30z is only $40 from Tracfone. It doesn't have great specs but it has Android 12. A great deal if you just need a basic smartphone (or a burner).
I have been buying Tracfone on Ebay for many years now---1 a year as they come with 1 yr service 1500 min etc. I can get a decent phone for $100---if I buy a card (which Im not even sure it will work), I get one year and 400 min for $114----why not get the new phone---am I looking at this wrong? Is there a better way to keep the phone I have for cheeaper?
